Will I be able to use the same pipes under the sink?
My washing machine is set up in my kitchen. The washing machine hose is located under the sink, so I do not see the water coming out from the hose. I want to know if I get a refrigerator with the filtered ice and water dispenser, can that could be hook up under the sink as well? and if so How?
I hate saddle valves, they leak, and are tough to make close if you need to shut them off for any reason.
In Home Depot, they have a tee that is made for dishwasher hookups, it attaches to the outlet of the cold water shutoff under the sink, and the water line for the sink connects to the top of it. Then on the open end you can put a 3/8" by 1/4" compression adapter that will let you hook up the water line for the fridge.
This lets you have a more reliable shutoff valve, and much lower chance of leaks.

There is a device called a saddle clamp that is used to attach a valve to the pipe and pierce it for attachment of the line to the fridge. Most any hardware can sell you the unit with the plastic line for the fridge connection. They can also show and explain to you how to install it or you can get a plumber, for an outrageous fee, to do it for you.

Have installed several.
Yes, you can. As for how to connect, I can’t really say for sure because I don’t know what kind of pipes you have. If you have copper pipes, you can get something called a saddle connector that fits around the pipe and has a rubber gasket, when it is fastened around the pipe it seals itself. Then you screw the valve down and it pierces a small hole in the pipe. Connect the water supply hose to the refrigerator and to the new saddle valve. Open the valve and voila, water is supplied to the fridge. One note, make sure the saddle valve is connected to the cold water pipe and not the hot water.
