The Paragon company is one of the leading names in water filtration. They offer a wide variety of solutions for consumers that need to purify water. When purchasing a Paragon water filter, it should match the type of filtration system that you have. There are a variety of choices to meet all kinds of needs. They have under the sink filtration systems, countertop systems, faucet mount systems and even those that fit on your shower. They even have specialty filters for people whose needs are not met by the other types of Paragon filtration systems.

One of the most hassle free filtration systems is the Paragon Model P3060, a countertop filtration system that costs around $100. What is so great about this model is that it requires no maintenance, that's right – you will never change a filter. This model can filter 20,000 gallons of water during its lifetime, and comes in fashionable black, chrome, or white. The five stage filtration removes chlorine odor and taste, as well as other unwanted particulates from your water. It is made to last a long time before it will need to be replaced.

For around the same price, you can get a Paragon under the sink filtration system. This saves countertop space, and has the ability to remove unwanted matter from your drinking water. It is estimated that this particular filtration system can take out approximately 97 percent of lead, mercury and other toxins you don't want in your drinking water. Not only does it get rid of unwanted particulates, it improves the odor, clarity and taste of your water. It also removes certain percentages of other toxins, for example it takes out almost 96 percent of THMs and MTBEs.

And, as mentioned before,  you can even get a Paragon water filter for your shower. If you have hard water, then you know that it can be harsh on your hair and skin, as well as your tub. A filtration system from Paragon can take care of that, leaving your skin and hair healthier and your tub residue free. Before you purchase any kind of water filtration system, do some research to make sure it is right for your needs. One thing you're sure to appreciate about Paragon products is that they are reasonable in price and come in many different models to suit various home needs.

The water flows very slowly but i installed a new filter under the sink.

Depends on the filter. In someways the filter is only slowing the water down because it is working. By this I mean, the filter is realy holding off all that bacteria and what not making it go slower. So don't worry that much about it. In some other cases, the filter could be holding back all the water that makes it go fast (LOL).

Definitely NOT Dasani!!! Coca-Cola admitted that it is just plain tap water from England. See link.

Also, definitely NOT Aquafina!!! It is also just tap water. See this link:

I'm guessing this question is in response to recent news that most of our water supply in the USA is tainted with low levels of prescription drugs, among other findings. I, too, am looking for a bottled water brand that uses RO (reverse osmosis). As it turns out, the generic brand at my local Safeway, called "Refreshe" is purified through RO.

Not sure of your location in the country, but good luck. Inspect your water-bottle label carefully. If it does not list a source, pass and keep looking.

I'm currently researching RO home-filters online, as I plan to no longer give tap water to my dog. (My last three pups have died of various cancers- make me wonder...). They have been varying in price from $150 to $400.
